1. The deepest mine in the world is 6.3 kilometers deep.

2.You have have to dig about 35 kilometers down to reach the mantle.

3. If I somehow reached the mantle, it would be extremely hot liquid. If I got to the outer core, it would also be very hot and liquid. Going down into the inner core, it would still be hot, but not liquid, it would be solid. Getting to the crust, it would start cooling off a bit as we made our way up. We'd have to go through packed clay and rock. When we reached the top, depending where you are, there would be mountains on the surface, it would be flat, or you'd come up in the ocean.
