1. The school plans to utilize gemothermal air conditioning, rainwater collections and solar photovoltaic power systems.

2. Solar photovoltaic power systems means using solar power and panels.

Geothermal a/c means that there are pipes underground with water and antifreeze. When it's cold outside it will warm up the school, when it is hot, it will cool the school off. Rainwater collection means collecting any precipitation that falls and reusing it to prevent wasting water.

3. I chose conservation and biodiversity.

4. One big problem is pollution and lack of energy resources.

5. There are many things I can do to help with this problem. One thing I can do is reduce my pollution that I contribute to the Earth's heating. You can also conserve energy. Turning off your t.v., unplugging your charger, and turning off your computer when your not using it are also some ways to conserve energy. Although it's expensive, using solar photovotaic can help with the conservation problem

1. I think my best blog was the wordle words one, because it was the most creative and helped me remember vocabulary words along with words that I can associate them with.

2.I believe I deserve at least a 95% on my blogs, because I attempted each one and completed them to the best of my ability.

3. My favorite chapter of the second quarter was chapter 17; The Atmosphere: Structure and Temperature. I liked this chapter because I've always been interested in the atmosphere and the weather and how all of that works together. I enjoyed learning about the different spheres in the atmosphere. I wasn't aware that out of the whole atmosophere, I only lived in an itty bitty portion called the troposphere. When we learned about the Earth and the Sun, it interested me to find out that the Earth spins on its axis and as it spins, the seasons change. Overall, chapter 17 was just an interesting chapter for me.

1. When Pangaea formed, all of the continents were somehow connected and touching. During Rodinia, not all of the conitinents were together.
They were similar because they were both huge landmasses.

2.To me, the one that looks the fastest moving was 500 million years ago.

3.If the world looked like Pangaea today, sports teams would be more integrated and the government would have more land to look after, instead of them just handling the US.

4. I would choose to build a modern civilization in Kolyma Block, present northeastern Siberia. I chose there because it is on the water, but still connected to the rest of Pangaea, so the knowledge can spread across the land.

1. The deepest mine in the world is 6.3 kilometers deep.

2.You have have to dig about 35 kilometers down to reach the mantle.

3. If I somehow reached the mantle, it would be extremely hot liquid. If I got to the outer core, it would also be very hot and liquid. Going down into the inner core, it would still be hot, but not liquid, it would be solid. Getting to the crust, it would start cooling off a bit as we made our way up. We'd have to go through packed clay and rock. When we reached the top, depending where you are, there would be mountains on the surface, it would be flat, or you'd come up in the ocean.
